My Adventures in SE Asia by Ian A Wilson Esq.

A few things to consider whilst perusing these captured moments:
  1. I take photos for me, not anybody else.  If you find a particular shot boring or can't see the merit in it, I recommend you phone someone who gives a toss.  Just kidding...call me and I'll shout at you.
  2. I generally find  pictures of scenery and monuments with a "here I am...look at me!" person right in the foreground spoiling the view kind of irritating.  Hence, you won't find many here.  I usually keep "people" and "place" shots separate.
  3. I didn't have a digicam on the trip, so the quality varies dramatically.  What's annoying is that the print itself in many cases captures the moment a lot better than the jpg equivalent.  (A special thanks goes to the Kodak in-store "put it on CD" utility...YOU'RE SHITE!)
  4. There are huge gaps between dates in some cases.  Sorry, but I was really having too much fun a lot of the time to remember taking pictures!  Fill in the blanks with one of these images: me drunk; me stoned; me dancing; me and <insert name(s)> hugging; mountains; forests; beaches; rivers; a random shot of my hand, foot, crotch or camera case; blurry nothingness.  Treat it like a game!

I have one more film of the end of the trip to upload when I get it developed; it's almost finished.  Also, I'll be getting copies of the shots taken by various friends and my bro to put up asap, too, so keep checking back.

Because of size limitations imposed by my Mum's ISP (I can't afford my own yet, don't laugh!), I've had to upload the images in 800x600 res.  If you like any particular shots, let me know and I can send you them either in 1024x768 res or the original size (BIG!)

The naming convention is dd-mm-yyletter.jpg, to help me keep them in order of when they were taken.  There are 25 pictures per gallery; just click on the thumbnail at the top of the page to view each shot, and navigate using the arrows at either end of the strip.

Anyway, enough gibbering.  On with the show..!
